Tickets for the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki can be purchased from the Taito Shop Seinäjoki located on the first floor of the Kalevan Navetta during the opening hours. Tickets can also be booked in advance from the online store. We organise guided tours in the exhibitions and in the art and culture center, please read more on the Services page. Kunsthalle also offers various service packages in cooperation with the restaurant Äärellä.

Services
The Art and Culture Centre Kalevan Navetta provides a number of services to visitors. A restaurant, a shop, an art rental shop and conference services – all under one roof. You can organise art birthdays and workshops at the Kunsthalle, both for children and adults. You can also have parties, wellbeing-at-work days and enjoy other service packages at the Kunsthalle. Combine your brunch, lunch or a cup of coffee with an exhibition visit! We offer various packages jointly with the Äärellä restaurant that provides restaurant services to Kalevan Navetta. Also, our premises can be booked for private meetings and other occasions with the restaurant.
Art birthdays, party packages and wellbeing-at-work days
Art birthdays are organised both for adults and children. We also offer tailored wellbeing-at-work and party packages for adults. Please contact our producer for public programmes for more information.

For groups
Guided exhibitions for groups
You can order a guided exhibition tour or the house tour of Kalevan Navetta for your group. Tours last from 45 minutes to 1 hour. The maximum number of persons in a group is 25. If there are more than 25 persons in a group, we will reserve two guides and charge two guide fees. In addition to the guide fee, we charge entrance fee as per the price list. The house tour of Kalevan Navetta presents to visitors an eventful history of the building from a cowshed to a broadcloth factory, to defence forces warehouse and art and culture centre. During guided exhibition tours you will visit current art exhibitions displayed.

Schools and day care centres
Guided art exhibition visits led by a teacher or a guide are free of charge for Seinäjoki’s educational institutions, pre-school education groups and employees of the city’s social and healthcare establishments. Schools from other municipalities of South Ostrobothnia and SEDU student groups are charged a guide fee (€ 40). A guided tour should be booked with the producer for public programmes at least two weeks in advance by email at taidehalli(at)seinajoki.fi or by telephone 044 754 1779. The tour usually lasts from 45 minutes to one hour depending on an exhibition. You may visit the Kunsthalle with a group on your own during opening hours. We kindly request you to inform us about your visit in advance by email at taidehalli(at)seinajoki.fi.
Cultural education plan for schools
The Kunsthalle participates in the Kulttuurimatka, which is part of the cultural education plan of the City of Seinäjoki. Every year third-form pupils of the city visit the Kunsthalle within the framework of a functional exhibition visit tailored to their needs. The cultural education plan is also taken into account when planning the exhibition program of the Kunsthalle.
Accessibility
Kunsthalle Seinäjoki is located in the arts and culture centre Kalevan Navetta (Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki). The map of the parking area and arriving to the arts and culture centre can be found here.
There are 50 parking lots around the house reserved for the customers. The first hour of parking if free. Following hours costs 1 € / gours. Take the parking ticket in the machine. The closest public parking space is located in Maakunnankatu 700 m away. When taking a walk to Kalevan Navetta from there, it’s easiest to arrive via the Lakeuden Aamunkoi bridge.
The entrance of Kalevan Navetta is accessible. The main door opens automatically. The customer service and information desc are located in the first floor. Our exhibition spaces Halli on the 2nd floor and Vintti on the 3rd floor are accessible with the elevator. The door to Halli opens automatically when you show your exhibition ticket to the reader mounted on the wall.
The accessible toilet is located on the first floor.
Disabled person’s assistant and guide and assistance dogs are welcome to Kunsthalle. The assistants enter the exhibitions free of charge.
You can borrow a wheelchair in the 1st floor.
