The Summer Artist for Seinäjoki City has been chosen!
Summer Artist 2025 is artist Emmi Kairenius from Rovaniemi, Lapland. Seinäjoki city’s cultural services hires a summer artist for the ninth time. 79 applicants applied for the position of summer artist within the deadline. The summer job organized by Kunsthalle Seinäjoki gives the artist the opportunity to do artistic work and the citizens a way to get to know different ways of making and experience art.

New art curator and producer for public programmes in the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki
Elina Teitti, MA, was selected as the art curator of Kunsthalle Seinäjoki from 10.2.2025. Elina Teitti is on leave from 17.3.2025 onwards and her replacement is Laura Laukkanen, FM. Ruu Kumpulainen, MA., was appointed as the producer for public programmes of the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki from 10.3.2025.
