MUU Summer: Free Admission Day

In July, Art and Culture Centre Kalevan Navetta will be celebrating MUU summer! On Wednesdays in July, there will be activities and experiences for all ages. All programmes are free of charge unless otherwise indicated.

 

Kunsthalle MUU Summer 2025 Free Admission Days

On Wednesdays in July, free admission to the exhibitions in Kunsthalle Seinäjoki from 11 am to 7 pm.

Tiina Laasonen’s exhibition I Know a Tree that Grew Up will be on display in exhibition space Halli until 3.1.2026. The group exhibition Listening to the Earth Beyond Silence is on display in exhibition space Vintti until 9.8.2025.

 

Kunsthalle programme for MUU summer 2025

Wed 2.7. at 12 pm to 2 pm Art workshop: Meditative art, Kammio, 1st floor

Come and relax with meditative art! In this workshop we will draw repetitive patterns inspired by the annual rings of trees with markers. Peaceful music plays in the background. The workshop is non-stop, with a Kunsthalle art instructor present.

 

Wed 9.7. at 2 pm to 2:45 pm Kalevan Navetta tour

The Kalevan Navetta tour presents the building’s eventful history from a barn to a baize factory, a military warehouse and an art and culture centre. The tour also includes a visit to art exhibitions. The free tour starts in the lobby at 2 pm and lasts about 45 minutes. The tour will be held in Finnish.

 

Wed 16.7. at 2 pm to 4 pm Art workshop: Floral monoprinting, Kässä 2 classroom, 1st floor

Come and try your hand at printmaking! In this workshop we will make low-threshold monoprints using plants. The workshop will be non-stop, with a Kunsthalle art instructor present.

 

Wed 23.7. & 30.7. from 11 am to 7 pm Summer arts and crafts

Instructions and examples provided for fun summer arts and crafts. These projects are designed to be done independently and they take their inspiration from the exhibitions on display.
