Opening event: Jacob Juhl: Imagine a Tree

On Friday, 14th of June 2024, from 5 pm until 8 pm, we will celebrate the opening of exhibition Jacob Juhl: Imagine a Tree. On the same day, we will also have Kalevan Navetta’s Summer Day Event in the house. You are warmly welcome! The event is free for everyone.

The opening programme includes an interview with the artist, opening speeches and a Candy Tree workshop for all ages based on the themes of the exhibition. The Summer Day programme also includes a craft picnic, a jazz concert and much more.

17-19 Candy tree workshop. Build your own imaginary tree out of candy with an art instructor from the Kunsthalle! The workshop is suitable for all ages. Pop up workshopis located in Pedatila Itika (2nd floor). The workshop opens at 5pm and runs until 7pm or until materials are lasting.

At 17.30 The opening of the art exhibition Imagine a Tree will be followed by an opening speech and an interview with the artist.

18-19 Kaleva Navetta bingo.

18-20 Jazz concert.

17-20 Moo-pass for children.

The Kunsthalle Seinäjoki Art Exhibition Opening events are free of charge and open to all. In the opening events you will be among the first to experience the new art exhibition. You wll also get to know the artists and other exhibition creators. The opening evenings are usually combined to the Kalevan Navetta event days: the house will then be full of varied programme activities organized by the many actors of the cultural centre. The Äärellä restaurant bistro is also open until 9.30 pm.
